A curious little box made from flattened out bronze pennies. After flattening the coins I then texture the piece with shillings, florins, and sixpences to give the box such a nice tactile texture. This piece is roughly 40mm by 30mm and mainly bronze with silver and brass details. It comes on a long and adjustable black cotton cord or your choice of sterling silver chain (charged at cost). Thanks to the large hollow hinge this piece is equally nice as a little curiosity box without a chain or cord. The stars on the inside of this piece in the picture are Gemini. These will be randomly placed stars unless you specify your constellation in the ‘order notes’ box that shows up under the delivery address section when going through checkout. *Photos are a representation of the piece you will receive. Your piece will be made by hand, to order, from genuine coins of a random date. Each piece is made from scratch, by Gabriel, using traditional hand tools with no casting or moulds involved, and will have its own character and be unique to you.
