A unique ring made from recycled sterling silver. After collecting off cuts of sterling silver coins I melt them down into an ingot and then hammer and roll it out into sheet silver. I then texture the recycled silver by pressing sixpences and shillings into the metal. The ring is finished off with an old cupronickel shilling being hammered into a diamond shape and attached to the top of the ring. These rings are roughly 8mm – 9mm wide and made from silver that is around 1mm thick. They have a lovely smooth tactile feel with coin details going all the way around them. The band that is in contact with your skin is made from top quality .925 silver, but please be aware that the diamond shaped coin on top is cupronickel and may not be appropriate if you have a nickel allergy.
