Description I darkened the silver around this bright amazonite for a little stormy sky drama. It was carved in my studio and is a sky blue with veins of white. The darkened silver makes the color pop out. Various stories believe it received its name because the first deposits were found in Brazil near the Amazon. Amazonite has also been known as the stone of truth and the stone of courage. The gem is about 3/4″ long and hangs on a 18″ sterling silver chain. Amazonite, Sterling Silver
